Welcome message
On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, we are pleased to invite you to join the 29th National Meeting on Medicinal Chemistry (NMMC29), the headline event of the Divisione di Chimica Farmaceutica (Division of Medicinal Chemistry) of the Società Chimica Italiana (Italian Chemical Society).
NMMC29, together with the 16th Young Medicinal Chemists Symposium “Nuove Prospettive in Chimica Farmaceutica” (NPCF16), represents the best opportunity to share the progress of research and to favor collaborations among medicinal chemists from both academia and industry. The participants will have the chance to present the results of their research in the highly stimulating environment of the meeting that will cover the most recent advances in medicinal chemistry and chemical biology, including Sustainability in Medicinal Chemistry, Computer simulations and AI in Drug Discovery, Lipid signaling in Drug Discovery and Biophysics in Drug Discovery and Chemical Biology.
The 2025 NMMC edition will be organized by the University of Parma. The meeting will start on September 14th with the Opening Ceremony at the Starhotels du Parc in Parma, in the beautiful frame of Parco Ducale, and it will continue in the conference rooms of the same venue from 15th to 17th September.
More than 250 colleagues from academia and industry are expected to join the Meeting with a rich scientific program that will include five plenary and ten keynote lectures, as well as numerous oral communications and poster presentations.
The meeting will also give the opportunity to greet the winners of the medal and prizes assigned by the Divisione di Chimica Farmaceutica during the Opening Ceremony.
We look forward to welcoming you in Parma!
